Hot Pickups Down the Stretch

The Baseball Fantasy Season is heading down the stretch with only 6 weeks left to play. If you are comfortably in the lead, somewhere in the pack or thinking about the future of your team, there are players that can impact your team now.

Im going to list you some players that could be available in your league and will help you towards your fantasy championship. First the Call-Ups, the September 1st young prospects of the game get to show their stuff. Second, those who have been productive and shouldn't slow down anytime soon. Third, in Roto leagues you can gain ground in SBs quickly, if you are in a tight pack within the SB category, a player or two can jump you ahead of the SB pack.

the Call-Ups

Travis Snider - 14HRs 40 RBI in 175ABs in AAA; can hit 10+ HRs from here on out

Matt LaPorta - .917 OPS 17 HR 60RBI in AAA;

Brett Wallace - everyday playing time starting Sept1 for Oakland

Drew Stubbs - 46SBs in minors this year


Thriving recently

Marlon Byrd - batting 4th; already career highs in 14HR 28-2Bs 64RBIs

Adam LaRoche - batting 4th; last 23G 7HR 15RBI 15R

Carlos Gonzalez - 18 HR 14SB 73 R & 77 RBI combined AAA and Col; HRs in 4 consec games

Mark Ellis - last 25G 32H 10-2B 3HR 25 RBI 2SB .357AVG


Stolen Base helpers

Rajai Davis - 13 SBs last 26G; 26SB overall

Everth Cabrera - 10 SBs last 27G; 18SB overall; 73SBs in AAA last year
